Get positive; surround yourself with positive energy. Your sales & success will reflect your energy. If it's negative, in the end you will fail at whatever it is you do or certainly not see your potential.
People that surround us influence us more then we think. Sometimes this is on a subconscious level.
Sometimes our worst enemies are our family & friends. Make sure those who surround you support you and don't work against you. I've seen so many people influenced by their friends or family to take action or not take action that leads them away from success.
People like to give us advice about things they know nothing about. They may even deceive and lead you away from something because they don't want you to succeed, they don't want you to make them look bad, or they want the opportunity for themselves.
Some people don't have the capacity to understand or lack vision. Someone that was brought up in a family that worked a 9 to 5 job might believe that’s what you need to be doing when the reality is running your own business will find you greater success and rewards in life; it’s not true for everyone, but it may be for you.
People will try to influence you with their limited experience and their paradigm.
I’ve been there. And if it’s someone that you can’t easily remove from your life, find a way to dampen their influence in this area. Tune them out; convince yourself that they are just background noise. Be confident that it is YOU that knows the right path for YOU.
To often people judge us in the ‘here and now’. They don’t allow us the time to prove ourselves and build our businesses before they judge; or they judge us based on our own past failures. If you know what you are doing is sound, you enjoy it, you’re passionate about it, commit yourself to it and see it through... even through all the noise.
Listen to others, especially to those that have life experience, but don’t let them stop you from pursuing and realizing your dreams. Life goes by fast. No regrets...
